Okay, maybe our jokes aren’t enough to freak you out, but the thought of this upcoming week might be. 

Whether your Sunday spookies are a residual effect of last night’s bottle of wine, or you’re anxiously anticipating Tuesday’s meeting, remember – today is still the weekend! Here are some of our favorite festive tips to help you shake the Sunday Spookies: 

Go for a walk and enjoy Halloween decorations. 

Exercise has been shown to help alleviate anxiety, and being outside in the crisp October air does something for the soul. Throw on an oversized hoodie and see how your neighbors are celebrating the holiday. Bonus points if you leave your phone at home… no pics, but it still happened. 

Practice some seasonal self-care.

Get cozy with a Halloween movie.

 Carve a jack-o-lantern. 

There is no better way to celebrate Halloween by carving a pumpkin, and crafting (or carving, in this case) has been shown to help chase away anxiety. Also, roasting the remaining pumpkin seeds will give you a yummy snack to savor during the week.

Remember you’re a Hallowkween, and you deserve to enjoy your Sunday.  

Instead of being worried about this week, remind yourself to look forward to all the costumes, seasonal socializing, and candy corn that you’ll enjoy!
