Air Fryer Apple Fritters with GB Glaze (High-Protein, Gluten-Free, Refined Sugar-Free)
These fritters SCREAM fall & we cannot get enough 😩🍂
Here's what you'll need:
🍎 1 cup flour (can sub 1:1 GF flour)
🍎 1 cup greek yogurt
🍎 1 ½ tsp baking soda
🍎 1 apple, diced
For the cinnamon sugar coating:
🍎 ¼ cup coconut sugar
🍎 2-3 tsp cinnamon
For the Granola Butter® glaze:
🍎 ½ cup greek yogurt
🍎 2 tbsp Original Granola Butter®
🍎 2-3 tsp almond milk
Here's what you'll do:
🍎 Preheat the air fryer to 375F.
🍎 In a medium bowl, combine the flour, greek yogurt, and baking soda. Mix until a dough forms.
🍎 Then, add in the diced apple and mix until evenly distributed in the dough.
🍎 In a separate bowl, mix together the coconut sugar and cinnamon for the cinnamon sugar coating.
🍎 Scoop the dough out (about 2 tbsp per ball) and use your hands to roll into a round shape.
🍎 Roll around the ball in the cinnamon sugar coating, making sure to completely cover the surface. Repeat until the dough is gone.
🍎 Spray the basket of your air fryer with non-stick cooking spray, place the fritters inside, and air fry for 6-8 minutes.
🍎 While they are baking, mix together the ingredients for the Granola Butter® glaze.
🍎 Once done, remove from the air fryer and drizzle the glaze on top. INHALE!
