CHRISTMAS CRUNCH 💥🎄 (Nut-Free)
The GRANOLA BUTTER version of CHRISTMAS CRUNCH 😛💥🎄
Here's what you'll need:
🎁 30-35 saltine crackers
🎁 1 cup unsalted butter (about 1 block)
🎁 1 cup brown sugar
🎁 1/2 cup Vanilla Granola Butter
🎁 1 cup dark or milk chocolate chips
🎁 Fun toppings like candy cane white chocolate chips, festive sprinkles, crushed cookies of choice
Here's what you'll do:
🎁 Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the saltine crackers in a single layer. *Definitely do this before you move on to the next step*
🎁 In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir until it begins to bubble. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring until it starts to thicken.
🎁 Quickly pour the hot toffee mixture evenly over the crackers. Use a spatula to spread it evenly. The crackers will start to move so it is important to be patient.
🎁 Bake for 5 minutes, or until the toffee is bubbly.
🎁 Remove from the oven and spread Vanilla Granola Butter over the top. Again, the crackers will start to move so be patient and use a spatula and your hands to help.
🎁 Sprinkle the dark or milk chocolate chips over the Vanilla Granola Butter layer. Let them melt slightly, then gently spread. Let the crack cool for a bit before adding the toppings.
🎁 Once a bit cooled, sprinkle white chocolate chips, crushed cookies, and sprinkles.
🎁 Let it cool completely at room temperature, then transfer to the fridge for at least 3 hours to set. Enjoy!!
