Cookies & Cream Puff Pastry Twists

A new kind of Cookies & Cream baked goodie. 

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed at room temperature
  • ½ cup Cookies n Cream Granola Butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Crushed chocolate cookies
  • Optional: melted white chocolate 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400f. And line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases. 

  3. Spread a layer of Cookies n Cream Granola Butter evenly over the entire surface of one of the puff pastry sheets.

  4. Carefully add the second puff pastry sheet on top and cut into strips, approx. 1 inch wide.

  5. Twist each strip into a spiral shape and place it on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each twist.

  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pastry twists for a golden finish.

  7. Top with cookie crumbles.

  8. Bake them in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the twists are puffed up and golden brown.

  9. Allow the twists to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Drizzle with the melted white chocolate.
