HOMEMADE Chewy Bars (Gluten-Free, Vegan, Nut-Free)

Chewy Bars were a staple in my childhood diet. And these homemade ones are so nostalgic & tasty 🤤 Plus, they're made with better-for-you ingredients and are vegan/gluten-free/nut-free!

Here's what you'll need:

🤎 2 cups GF rolled oats

🤎 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

🤎 1/4 cup pepitas

🤎 2 tbsp chia seeds

🤎 1 tbsp hemp seeds

🤎 1/2 cup Cookie Dough Granola Butter®

🤎 1/3 cup maple syrup

🤎 1 tbsp or so coconut oil

 

Here's what you'll do:

🤎 Combine all dry ingredients (except chocolate chips) together and set aside.

🤎 In a small saucepan, add the wet ingredients and stir on low heat for a few minutes until it is warm.

🤎 Pour the wet ingredients over the dry and mix.

🤎 Add in the chocolate chips and mix gently.

🤎 Line a 4x4 pan and spread the mixture evenly.

🤎 Freeze for 30 minutes or more.

🤎 Remove from the freezer and cut into bars.

🤎 Store in the freezer for up to 1 month (let thaw for a few minutes when eating) or the fridge for up to 5 days!
