HOMEMADE TWIX (Gluten-Free, Vegan, Nut-Free)

Twix but make it Granola Butter!!!

Here's what you'll need:

For the shortbread layer:

๐ŸคŽ 1/2 cup coconut flour

๐ŸคŽ 1 cup almond flour

๐ŸคŽ 4 tbsp coconut oil

๐ŸคŽ 3 tbsp maple syrup or honey

๐ŸคŽ pinch salt

For the caramel layer:

๐ŸคŽ 2/3 cย Vanilla Granola Butter

๐ŸคŽ 2 tbsp coconut oil

๐ŸคŽ 1 tsp vanilla extract

๐ŸคŽ 3-4 tbsp maple syrup

For the chocolate layer:

๐ŸคŽ 1/2 c dark choc chips

๐ŸคŽ 1-2 tbsp coconut oil

Here's what you'll do:

๐ŸคŽ Preheat your oven to 350 f and line a 6x6 baking pan.

๐ŸคŽ Combine all Shortbread Layer ingredients in a small bowl.

๐ŸคŽ Place mixture in the pan and press down evenly using your hands and a spatula.

๐ŸคŽ Bake for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 15-20 minutes.

๐ŸคŽ To make the Caramel Layer, combine all ingredients and add to a pan on low heat for 2-3 minutes.

๐ŸคŽ Once the shortbread layer is cooled, spread the caramel layer evenly on top and place in the freezer for about 20 minutes or until frozen.

๐ŸคŽ To make the Chocolate Layer, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil on low heat and set to the side.

๐ŸคŽ Remove the pan from the freezer and spread the chocolate layer.

๐ŸคŽ Freeze again for about 10 minutes or until the chocolate is fully frozen.

๐ŸคŽ Cut into bars and store in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.

๐ŸคŽ Optional: sprinkle with flaky salt on top!!
