HOMEMADE TWIX (Gluten-Free, Vegan, Nut-Free)

Twix but make it Granola Butter!!!
Here's what you'll need:
For the shortbread layer:
๐ค 1/2 cup coconut flour
๐ค 1 cup almond flour
๐ค 4 tbsp coconut oil
๐ค 3 tbsp maple syrup or honey
๐ค pinch salt
For the caramel layer:
๐ค 2/3 cย Vanilla Granola Butter
๐ค 2 tbsp coconut oil
๐ค 1 tsp vanilla extract
๐ค 3-4 tbsp maple syrup
For the chocolate layer:
๐ค 1/2 c dark choc chips
๐ค 1-2 tbsp coconut oil

Here's what you'll do:
๐ค Preheat your oven to 350 f and line a 6x6 baking pan.
๐ค Combine all Shortbread Layer ingredients in a small bowl.
๐ค Place mixture in the pan and press down evenly using your hands and a spatula.
๐ค Bake for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 15-20 minutes.
๐ค To make the Caramel Layer, combine all ingredients and add to a pan on low heat for 2-3 minutes.
๐ค Once the shortbread layer is cooled, spread the caramel layer evenly on top and place in the freezer for about 20 minutes or until frozen.
๐ค To make the Chocolate Layer, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil on low heat and set to the side.
๐ค Remove the pan from the freezer and spread the chocolate layer.
๐ค Freeze again for about 10 minutes or until the chocolate is fully frozen.
๐ค Cut into bars and store in the fridge for up to 4-5 days.
๐ค Optional: sprinkle with flaky salt on top!!
