Introducing: CINNAMON ROLL GRANOLA BUTTER
Hey Cinnabon, there's a new bish in town - and her name is Cinnamon Roll Granola Butter !!! One of our most requested & indulgent flavors yet - you're gonna want to roll this one *right* into your mouth. She's sweet, she's cinnamony, she's buttery, and she's 100% vegan & gluten-free! And what better way to celebrate than with a GIANT cinnamon roll made with GB?!
Here's what you'll need for the pastry:
🤎 1 ½ cups self-rising flour (or 1 cup all-purpose flour + 2 ¼ tsp baking powder + ¾ tsp salt)
🤎 1 ½ cups greek yogurt
🤎 ½ cup warm heavy cream
Here's what you'll need for the filling:
🤎 ½ cup Cinnamon Roll Granola Butter
Here's what you'll need for the icing:
🤎 1 scoop protein powder, flavor of choice
🤎 2 tbsp powdered sugar
🤎 2 tbsp milk of choice (plus more as needed)
Here's what you'll do:
🤎 Preheat the oven to 375F. Grease a medium sized cast iron skillet or baking dish with softened butter; set aside.
🤎 In a large bowl, mix together the self rising flour and greek yogurt until a dough forms. If the dough is too wet to work with, add more flour 1 tbsp at a time.
🤎 On a floured surface, roll the dough out into a large rectangle, about ¼” thick.
🤎 Spread the Cinnamon Roll Granola Butter on the surface of the dough.
🤎 First, cut the edges off, and roll them to make a ‘giant’ cinnamon roll. Place that roll into the prepared skillet or baking dish.
🤎 Then, cut the remaining rectangle into 4-5 strips. Wrap the strips around the already formed cinnamon roll so it builds on the first. Continue with the remaining strips until you have a giant cinnamon roll.
🤎 Pour the warm heavy cream on top.
🤎 Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top.
🤎 While baking, whisk together the ingredients for the glaze.
🤎 Remove from the oven & drizzle the glaze over the giant cinnamon roll. Enjoy!
