Maple Pecan Granola Butter Twists
Don't mind us as we will literally be making these all fall long 🫶🏼👻
Here's what you'll need:
🍂 2 sheets puff pastry, chilled
🍂 ½ cup brown sugar
🍂 2 ½ tbsp butter, melted
🍂 3 tbsp maple syrup, plus more for glazing
🍂 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
🍂 ~½ cup Vanilla Granola Butter® (Original or Pumpkin Spice would also be amazing in this!!
Here's what you'll do:
🍂 Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
🍂 Prepare the filling by combining the chopped pecans, brown sugar, butter, and maple syrup in a bowl. Stir until it forms a paste and set aside.
🍂 To assemble the twists, dust the working area with flour, then roll out the puff pastry sheets.
🍂 Divide the puff pastry sheets into 4 pieces.
🍂 Make diagonal cuts, roughly ½” apart from each other, on opposite sides of the puff pastry.
🍂 Spread ~1.5 tsp of the Vanilla Granola Butter® in the middle of each piece. Then, add roughly 1 tbsp of the maple pecan filling on top of the Vanilla Granola Butter® to each.
🍂 Fold the cut edges alternately, overlapping each other to create a braided pastry design. Tuck in both ends of the puff pastry. Transfer the pastries to the prepared baking sheet.
🍂 Brush the pastries with maple syrup, then sprinkle more chopped pecans on top.
🍂 Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!!
