Granola Butter Snickers Bar

Ingredients:

🤍 Base Layer:

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil

🤍Caramel Layer:

  • 1 cup soaked Medjool dates (softened in warm water for 10 min, then drained)

  • ⅓ cup Oat Haus Granola Butter

  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch sea salt

  • ½ cup crushed peanuts

  • 1-2 tbsp filtered water, if needed

🤍Chocolate Coating:

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (melted)

  • About 1/2 tbsp coconut oil 

Directions:

💫 To make the base: Mix almond flour, maple syrup, and coconut oil until a dough forms. Press into a lined loaf pan and freeze for 10-15 minutes.
💫 To make the caramel layer: Blend soaked dates, granola butter, vanilla, and sea salt until smooth. Stir in crushed peanuts. Add splash of water if needed to thin out the mixture. Spread over the base and freeze for another 30 minutes.
💫 To make chocolate coating: Pour melted chocolate over the caramel layer and spread evenly. Freeze again for about 20 minutes, or until firm.
 💫 Once set, cut into bars and enjoy!

*The chocolate may crack when try to cut into bars. To avoid this, you could alternatively cut the bars before pouring chocolate on top and then dip the bars individually into the chocolate
